Customer Reviews
Pretty cool gift idea
So I got my sister a Birth Place Map for her birthday from Placethemoment. It came out looking really good, honestly. The website was easy to mess around with to get it just how I wanted. It took maybe 6 days to show up, which was fine. She loved it, thought it was a super thoughtful present. Definitely thinking about getting one for myself now, maybe a Travel Memory Map.
Detailed review of my order
I ordered a Heart Shaped Map as a gift. The ordering process was straightforward; the customization interface was intuitive, letting me pick colors and add text easily. I used the preview feature multiple times to make sure everything looked right. Delivery took 8 days to reach my address in Florida, which was within the estimated timeframe. The poster came well-packaged in a sturdy tube, so there was no damage. The print quality on the paper was crisp, and the colors were vibrant. I contacted customer service once with a question about paper types before ordering, and they responded within a few hours with helpful details. The website was easy to navigate, and tracking my order was simple. It's a nice product overall.
Good product, shipping could be faster
I bought a Constellation Map for my husband. The map itself is really high quality, the printing is sharp, and the design looks nice on our wall. I was happy with the customization options they offered. Shipping took about 9 days to get to us in California, which felt a bit long compared to other online purchases I've made recently. The packaging was secure though, no dents or anything. Overall a good purchase, just wish it arrived a couple of days sooner.
Good value for a custom gift
I was looking for a unique anniversary gift and found Placethemoment. I bought a Custom Star Map and got 10% off for signing up for their newsletter, which was a nice bonus. The price felt fair for a personalized item. Shipping took about a week to get to me in Ohio, which was fine. Overall, I felt like I got good value for my money.
Consistent quality, easy process
This was my third order from Placethemoment, this time a Wedding Location Map for some friends. Like before, the process was smooth. The customization options are easy to use, and the preview feature is always helpful. The quality of the print was just as good as the Night Sky Star Map I ordered last year and the Personalised City Map Poster before that. They're reliable.

Is Placethemoment legit? Saw an ad for them and the custom star maps look cool but I'm always wary of new sites.
Hey guys, thinking of getting one of these custom maps for my girlfriend's birthday. How long does shipping usually take to like, California? Don't want it to arrive late.
